Job Summary/Objective:

RBI is seeking a Business Development Champion to be responsible for the Central Kentucky territory. The Business Development Champion (BDC) will be responsible for increasing sales in the defined territory, and innovating new ways to develop long lasting customer relationships in multiple sales channels. Knowledge and experience in the power equipment industries and tactical selling is a must. While an affection for the outdoors is a plus.

Business Development Champion is responsible for increasing sales with existing customers and developing long-term B2B relationships with new customers. Target customers include, not limited to servicing dealers, hardware stores, exporters, large tree care companies, large landscape companies.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

• Responsible for assisting Leadership in meeting target sales and financial goals
• Successfully prepares for and supports company driven promotions to deliver the best experience possible for customers
• Assist with workshops and training events in a way that will ensure successful execution as directed by Leadership
• Clearly communicates with guests via phone and email to answer technical questions, research available products, and prepare orders

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Work Environment: Office work environment is typical with regular travel in the field.
Physical Demands of the job on the employee: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk & hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use their hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Expected Work Hours: Monday through Friday, from 8:00a – 5:00p
Travel or driving: 75% travel with high potential 1-2 overnights a week based on customer needs
Required Education and Experience to do the job:__

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• At least two years of related experience required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
